On Friday October 28, 2016 from 9:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., James Monroe’s Highland and the Papers of George Washington will present “A Friendship Forged in War, A Nation Formed in Difference: George Washington and James Monroe.” The event will feature lectures from Peter Henriques, William Ferraro, and Dan Preston on Washington and Monroe as well as a concert by David and Ginger Hildebrand of The Colonial Music Institute entitled “Washington & Monroe: Music of the American Revolution and Beyond.”

A box lunch is included in the price of registration.
